How to Get Involved with Research in ESC

We welcome Georgia State University undergraduate and graduate students wishing to gain more research experience.  If you would like to volunteer to work in the lab, contact the lab director.

Graduate Research Assistantship

Graduate assistantships are available in departments and Colleges across campus including within our the ESC department. Research assistants have the opportunity to assist with current studies underway in the lab. Assistantships are offered to students annually on a competitive basis. Every assistantship differs according to the funding source; some may be for one semester only, others may be extended beyond one semester. The hours of employment, the amount of tuition paid, and any additional stipend offered varies. You can apply for assistantships any time after you have been admitted to a program. For GRA positions within this department, priority will be given to ESC students.

If you’re interested in applying to be a GRA, ask your advisor about openings.
