phd icongraduate iconEducational Psychology Concurrent Degrees M.S. and Ph.D.

Students in the doctoral program in Educational Psychology develop expertise in conducting empirical research in a sub-field of the discipline, such as learning, instruction, motivation, development, cognition, socialization, or applied behavior analysis.

Graduates will be prepared for careers as faculty members in colleges and universities or as research scientists employed in education, government, or business.

Those students who are currently certified or licensed in fields such as teaching, nursing, speech pathology, physical therapy, counseling, or school psychology will enhance their practice by becoming an expert in research applying psychological science to questions about learning and behavioral change.
